JOTA, a solo performance piece written and performed by Katherine Bahena-Benitez. JOTA, meaning gay, is a word of empowerment meant to liberate those of the guilt of being queer. In this piece, icons such as Juan Gabriel,Walter Mercado, Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz and Jesus Ociel Baena come to life.
